Stove & Range Repair — Book a Visit Today

We repair gas and electric ranges, freestanding and slide-in, across Little Rock and the surrounding states, so call us and tell us what yours is doing. A stove usually quits in stages: one burner stops lighting, or the oven runs cold on one side, or the panel goes dark halfway through a roast. Most of it traces back to a short list of parts, including igniters, surface elements, bake and broil elements, sensors, switches, and the control board behind all of it. We install too, so we will tell you plainly when a repair makes sense and when replacement is the smarter move. A visit starts with questions, then a live test, then a look at the wiring and gas connections. We explain what we find before we touch anything.

Stove & Range Repair — residential stove & range being serviced

The stove & range symptoms we hear most

  • The burner clicks and clicks but never lights Spark igniter, a clogged burner port, or a cracked igniter electrode
  • Oven says it's at 350 but nothing browns Failed oven temperature sensor, or a control that needs calibration
  • One coil stays cold, the rest work fine Burnt surface element, damaged receptacle, or a worn infinite switch
  • Whole cooktop is dead after the storm Tripped breaker, blown fuse, or surge damage to the control board
  • Gas smell near the range when nobody is cooking Loose supply connection or a leaking valve. Shut off the gas and call for help

Safe things to check first

Worth a look before you call — sometimes it saves you the visit.

  • 1Flip the breaker for the range off, wait a minute, and flip it back on.
  • 2Lift the gas burner caps and make sure the slots are clear of boiled-over food and grease.
  • 3Check whether the oven is sitting in Sabbath mode or delay start, and whether the controls are locked.
  • 4Look behind the range to confirm the cord is fully seated and the gas valve handle lines up with the pipe.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Tell us the symptom

Describe what you hear, see, or smell. Grinding, leaking, no heat, an error code on the panel. Those details let us load likely parts on the van before we ever pull into your driveway.

  2. Step 2

    We diagnose in person

Our technician tests the machine, checks power and water lines, and finds the part that actually failed. Well-water sediment and clogged valves fool a lot of guesswork. We confirm the cause before touching a wrench.

  3. Step 3

    Fix it or swap it

You get the honest read. Some machines need one part and have years left in them. Others are worn past sense. Because we also install, we can set the replacement level and connected on the same visit.

Stove & Range Repair — quick answers

Gas or electric: does it change the repair?

Yes. Gas ranges bring igniters, valves, and safety devices into the picture. Electric ranges lean on elements, switches, and heavy wiring. We service both, and we confirm the connection type before we order any part for your unit.

My oven bakes unevenly. Is that fixable?

Usually. Uneven baking often points at a weak bake element, a failing sensor, or a convection fan that quit turning. Warped racks and a bad door seal will do it too. We measure actual cavity temperature instead of trusting the display.

Should I repair this range or replace it?

Depends on the part, the age, and the shape the cabinet and cooktop are in. Since we also install, we say it straight. A single element or igniter is worth fixing. Rust through the body, or a failed board on a very old range, often is not.

Can well water hurt a range?

Not directly. Sediment-heavy water does leave mineral crust behind on spills and steam-cleaning cycles, and hard water film builds up on the door glass. The bigger well-water problems show up in dishwashers and ice makers, which we also handle.

A storm knocked out power and now the display is blank. What now?

Check the breaker first. If power is back and the panel stays dark, a surge may have hit the control board or a fuse inside the range. Unplug it and call us instead of cycling power over and over.

Do you work on slide-in and downdraft models?

We do. Slide-ins, freestanding, drop-ins, and downdraft ranges all come through. Downdraft units add a blower and a duct path that can clog up. Tell us the style and brand when you call so we show up prepared.

Why homeowners call us

  • Two families, one crewWe are not a call center routing tickets to strangers. The person answering the phone knows the technicians by name, and you get the same small group of hands in your kitchen and laundry room every time.
  • Straight swap-vs-fix talkInstallers see what breaks in year two. Repair techs see what lasts a decade. We do both, so we will tell you when a repair makes sense and when your money belongs in a new machine instead.
  • Storm season readyTornado season brings surges, outages, and flooded utility rooms. Control boards fry, and motors seize after water sits. We stock common boards and dry-run every machine before we leave, so you are not calling us back next week.
  • Well water experienceSediment and hard minerals wreck inlet valves, dishwasher jets, and ice makers. We see it constantly out past the city lines. We clean, we replace, and we show you the filter habit that keeps the same failure from coming back.
  • All major brands, gas & electricWhirlpool, Samsung, LG, GE, Maytag, Bosch, KitchenAid and more — as an independent repair company.
